Coffman Cove Area
Travel to Coffman Cove
Coffman Cove is on the northeast coast of Prince of Wales Island off the Clarence Strait on the Inside Passage in Southeast Alaska. Ketchikan and Wrangell are the transportation hubs of the area — about two hours flight from Seattle (Alaska Airlines).
Coffman Cove, by way of the Hollis terminal, is accessible by float plane (Pacific Airways, Taquan Air, Promech Air), water taxi (Breakaway Adventures), or ferry (Alaska Marine Highway System, Inter-Island Ferry Authority).
You can rent a car in Craig or Ketchikan and bring it across via ferry (Wilderness Car Rental, Alaska Car Rental). Alternatively, you can rent a car on Prince of Wales Island.
